" We are very proud of Dwynne and he has shown great courage in his battle against cancer "

Brain tumour victim Dwynne Percival wouldn¹t dream of chickening out of his first key fund-raising venture for Sheffield¹s Weston Park Hospital.
The Stagecoach Yorkshire bus driver is so grateful for the hospital¹s help that he is dressing up as an Easter bunny in Sheffield city centre on Good Friday and handing out 1,700 chocolate eggs in return for donations.
Dwynne, who can¹t drive a bus for at least another ten years because of epilepsy brought on by the tumour, said: "Weston Park and my wife Claire have been so supportive and I just couldn¹t have coped without them. It is a very special hospital and pays for me to go to a cancer support centre and I feel it¹s about time I gave something back."
Dwynne, of Parson Cross, Sheffield, will be distributing the eggs, bought by Stagecoach Yorkshire from Cadbury Trebor Bassett, in Leopold Street and Arundel Gate on Good Friday.
Since the discovery of his tumour, Dwynne, who has a four-year-old son Connor, has switched to a customer services role for Stagecoach providing advice and guidance for passengers around the Arundel Gate area of Sheffield.
He is receiving treatment for his epilepsy and the tumour is being closely monitored.
Dwynne added: "I miss the driving a lot but, fortunately, I still see plenty of people in my new job."
Paul Lynch, managing director of Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: "We are very proud of Dwynne and he has shown great courage in his battle against cancer"
