Run in the Park a huge success!
Our Run in the Park event, held in Graves Park in Sheffield, was again a massive success.
An incredible 1000 people entered into the annual 10k Race and 3k Fun Run held in aid of Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, double the numbers from the previous year.

There was a great atmosphere in the park, with the runners being encouraged on by the crowds of spectators.
The Fun Run was started by Weston Park Hospital legend ‘Prof’ Barry Hancock, and the 10k Race was started by former Olympic athlete Joslyn Hoyte-Smith.

The Fun Run was won by Duncan Smith and the 10k race was won by Kevin Lilley, with Rebecca Howarth winning the Ladies title.
A full list of the 10k Race results can be seen here.
The photo full gallery can be seen here and there will be a video of the day on the website soon.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part or came along as spectators, as well as to all the volunteers who helped make the day such a big success.
